黙示戦隊スカイファイター
Apocalypse Sentai Skyfighter

"I can't let the Apocalypse Empire destroy this world like they did to my own... Skycomputer! Find me five teenagers with fighting spirit!" --Commander Oji

All About the Boys

The Skyfighters have to go deep into Apocalypse Empire held territory to find a medicine to revive Oji!

Summary

Davis returns from Skycomputer, announcing that he's learned where they can find an antidote to the poison keeping Oji in his coma. Unfortunately, it's at a hospital in a neighbourhood controlled by the Apocalypse Empire! Furthermore, he explains the consequences of a direct attack in full detail; believing that if they're noticed, they move the antidote somewhere else, maybe even off-world, which isn't a chance they can take. A stealth attack is their only option. As a result, they leave Sam and Kari behind, saying that they can't afford to bring the girls along on a mission like this. Sam is (understandably!) furious, but there's no time for arguing.

Davis, Terry and Errol head out untransformed, sneaking around increasingly thicker armies of Fangwings as they make their way deeper into enemy territory. Meanwhile, in the shadows, none of them notice that they're being followed! They sneak into the hospital successfully, managing to snatch the antidote from behind the backs of monstrous scientists, and get as far as the street outside... before they're spotted by Fangwings!

All about the girls!
They attack, and Davis is about to call on them to transform, when suddenly an ambulance door flies open in front of him, knocking out the Fangwing menacing him. Inside is Sam's friend, Sachiko, who warns them that if they transform, they'll attract the attention of Princess Apocalie, who they can't afford to handle!

The ambulance wheels around, knocking over several Fangwings, revealing Izumi behind the wheel; all three of them hurry inside. Without any further ado, it races off, and Sachiko explains how they've been organizing a resistance in that neighbourhood while the Skyfighters have been too busy. Terry tries to apologize, but Izumi just says it's unnecessary. They drop them off at the edge of the neighbourhood, and all three hurry back, wishing the girls good luck, and thanking them for the rescue.

Back at base, Davis acts as if everything went according to plan, but Sam reveals that she was the one who told Sachiko and Izumi to keep an eye on them. He apologizes for cutting them out, now realizing that they couldn't have gone it alone. Sam tells him to hurry up and give the antidote to Oji. In the other room, Davis watches alone as Oji wakes up; he starts to break down sadly as he explains everything that's happened while he was in the coma...

Quotes

Davis: "I'm sorry, Sam, but in this case... you're a liability. I can't have you going off fighting half-cocked at the first sign of trouble, or they'll relocate the antidote and we'll never find it."
Sam: "Half-cocked? You're the one--"
Errol: "No! I don't care if it's true, absolutely do not under any circumstances finish that sentence."
Sam: "Seriously, this is absolute bull!"

Sachiko: "Keep Skyfighter activity to a minimum here! "
Izumi: "Unless you want to draw the attention of Apocalie when it's just the three of you... but I saw you on the news, I'm pretty sure you boys can't take her."

Oji: "What's happened... what have I missed?"
Davis: "So much... so much. Alex is gone. He... he died, Oji, Alex has died, Fear Sensei is more powerful than ever, the team has barely been holding together, and I've had to do so much... I'm just not sure. I feel like I've done so much wrong, but..."
Oji: "It's okay. Start from the beginning. I'm sure whatever you've done, you've done what you had to."
Davis: "I don't know, Oji... I don't know."
