A skilled, cautious fighter who believes in the value of teamwork, Alex knows that she can't ever live up to her predecessor's role in keeping team morale focused, no matter how hard she tries. In every way but experience, however, she is the same person that Alexander was: serious, dedicated, and always there for support. After all, she literally is the same person: Alexandra is the Counter-Earth version of Alexander, having grown up in the Apocalypse-ravaged world, but still turning out just the same.

The newest member of the Skyfighters, she constantly feels like she has something to prove. Initially only Terry is warm to her, understanding exactly what it's like having to fill someone else's shoes. Kari is outright hostile to her at the start; Alex is heartbroken, sharing Alexander's love for her thanks to the memories shared by his old transformer. She has a hard time reconciling being in love with a girl, let alone one who resents her, and keeps it secret. In the end, Kari admits to being in love herself, and they promise that somehow, they'll make it work.

Despite her own identity being forever overshadowed by her dead counterpart's, in the end, Alex comes to accept her role as his replacement with dignity; knowing that the Earth needs her, Kari and the other Skyfighters need her, and that if it was her who was killed, she would've been honoured to let Alexander fill her shoes.

No matter how awkward it may ever be for her, she knows that friendship and love are far more important, and she's been blessed with those in abundance.
