A highly competent martial artist and the leader of the Skyfighters, Davis knows that he holds an immense burden of responsibility, both to the team and to saving the world. When the odds seem overwhelming, Davis is always cautious, willing to make tough decisions if called upon to.

The first member of the Skyfighters selected and recently out of high school, Davis adjusted quickly to his position. While he often seems cold or distant, over time he's formed a very close relationship with the former Skyfighter Red, Commander Oji, and while he has a very different leadership style, he nonetheless looks up to him.

When Oji was put in a coma, Davis underwent his first real crisis, forced to lead on his own. Dealing with difficult decisions, he sometimes has to go farther than he'd like to for the good of the team, including lying to Kari, abandoning people during the siege, and killing an old comrade of Oji's turned evil. He wonders if he's not on a dangerous path, but he's found out that he's an absolutely vital member of the team: in an alternate future, without his leadership, the team falls apart, plunging the world into darkness.

The leader of the Skyfighters, Davis is cautious, commanding; he carries a huge responsibility and always fights to win, for the sake of the Earth.
